Jenny Catalano

Illustrator

Jenny Catalano switched her potter’s wheel for a pen and paintbrush to share stories, which preserve local

history and explore family heritage. The lefthanded,

fifth-generation Sunshine Coast resident appreciates the importance of childhood reading. She enjoys school visits, inspiring children, and is ever-evolving as a creative.

Jenny was a finalist in the 2021 Writing for Nature competition. When Jenny is not crafting her next tale, she blogs for Celtic Nations Magazine, frequents the local library. or is creating with her three daughters.

I was inspired to draw Clive Plater, a Eudlo resident and honorary flag bearer of the town.

Visit her on Facebook or see more of her art here.
